PGA Jr. League is changing the way golf is learned and played through its fun, team-oriented approach. Boys and girls of all skill levels learn and play the game with expert coaching and guidance from PGA Professional Captains, wear numbered jerseys, and compete on teams with friends in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence.
PGA Jr. League at The Ridge Golf Club includes three teams; Ridge Linksters, Ridge Aces, and Ridge Eagles. Participants must be between the ages of 8-13, with their 14th birthday being after July 31, 2019.
Practices are held every Wednesday morning from June 5th to July 31st. Practice will consist of one hour of instruction and competition on the driving range and practice green, followed by playing on the golf course with teammates.
Competitions are called “games” and will be scheduled mostly in July, with the end of the regular season being July 31.

PGA Jr. League at The Ridge has 6 generous corporate sponsors who help fund the cost of this program.
Following the regular season, All-Star teams are formed and move through a series of competitions to advance to the Regional phase of the post-season. Regional Champions then compete in the PGA Jr. League Championship presented by National Car Rental.
Each All-Star team is made up of a combination of 10 players from the local league. Each All-Star team must have at least one player from each of the league’s teams. The remaining players on the team will be determined by the final league standings. No one team is allowed to have more than five players on a league’s All-Star team.
