Karrie is a native of Vermillion, South Dakota. She started playing the game of golf at the age of 12. Karrie's passion for the game grew throughout her high school years, and led her to join the Coyote Women's Golf Team at The University of South Dakota, where she played for four years. After earning a degree in Recreation, Karrie began her career as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion. She also spent time as an Assistant Professional at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, MT, and most recently at Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, SD.

Karrie is looking forward to becoming part of The Ridge Golf Club and the community of Sioux Center. She is very excited to help develop The Ridge into one of the best golf facilities in the area. Karrie feels that the most enjoyable part of being a golf professional is helping others to enjoy the game of golf.
