This moderate length par 5 plays uphill across a corner of the lake and uphill into a valley. In addition, it is into the wind so going for the green in two will require very well struck shots. Adding to this difficulty for the better player, the fairway bunkering will visually combine with greenside bunkering to confuse distance perceptions. Although a layup shot can be played directly at the green, the judgment of distance required will be quite difficult. The safer alternative, out to the right, can be more easily accomplished but the further you play away from the fairway bunkers, the longer the third shot approach will be required. The third shot will also be more difficult to judge, and control, distance-wise since it will be dead into the wind, and uphill to an elevated green. The green itself is smaller and well bunkered but quite receptive. However, getting it back to the hole will be problematic since short shots into this green will easily spin back significantly. Yardage 425 to 552.
