Number 11 also is downhill and downwind which helps tame this longer type par 4. The hole varies from 363 at the front to 465 yards at the tips, however, the landing area is quite wide and accommodating. At this point however, the fairway radically narrows and flows around the neck of the large irrigation lake and then skirts the edge of the lake all the way into the green. The greensite approach is further narrowed by bunkers on the right front and thus the proper strategy on the tee shot will be to hug the left side for the best angle to the green through the quite narrow opening. Tee shots on the right side of the fairway will require a very precise approach over the bunkers and at an angle towards the lake from a hook lie.
